The 516 mile North Coast 500 or NC500 is billed as Scotland’s answer to Route 66 and while it clearly can’t match the Mother Road’s almost 2500 mile length, it certainly makes up for that with the stunning scenery, incredible history and heritage plus wildlife.  A circular route around the top of Scotland, the NC500 starts and finishes in Inverness and travels through Muir of Ord, Applecross, Gairloch, Ullapool, Scourie, Durness, Thurso, John O’Groats, Wick and Dingwall.

The route was launched in 2015 and has grown in popularity since.  The NC500 takes you on a range of roads, from trunk roads right down to little single track roads with passing places and this type of road is perfect for our sporty convertibles!

If you are looking to hire a car for your NC500 adventure then our modern classic sports car rentals are the perfect companions to your trip.

Whilst we are all for going where the road takes you and finding accommodation as you travel, the popularity of the NC500 means that this isn’t so easy.  If you are planning to do the NC500 and would like us to help with the planning then please get in touch.  Whether you are looking for some recommendations or would like us to plan out an itinerary in it’s entirety or something in between, we are happy to help.
